Just playing around right now and noticed that the new HDR on the iPhone isn’t half bad. Lowell, VT.
Nature photography is often a waiting game and if one is to be serious about it you’ll need lots of patience and persistence.
There are days that you don’t photograph much and some times nothing living at all. When you are lucky enough to finally see wildlife that you want to photograph you usually have to sit still and wait (and hope) it’ll get close enough, stand in a good position, and/or be where you want it (or need it) to be for the best shot. It’s never easy.
At least here in Vermont the scenery itself is a reward.
While waiting for Bufflehead or other waterfowl to come into view I couldn’t help to stop and photograph the sky and the changing weather conditions. Shelburne Bay is ideal place to setup and wait along the shoreline. In addition to various specious of diving ducks, Loons have been spotted in the area.
